What Beavers do
|
Although the youngest section in Scouting Beavers still enjoy a varied program. Whilst having fun and meeting new friends they learn new skills and face new challenges. As part of this a badge scheme rewards achievement and motovates the youngsters to want to do better. As well as weekly meetings there are occasional weekend events such as inter group contests, day trips and possibly if leaders and Beavers are brave enough the occasional sleep over. |

Pond Dipping For our 1st offsite activity we went to the Ecology Centre and found all sorts of creatures living in the ponds. We also played some games and had a great time exploring the area.

St Georges Day Parade St George is the patron saint of scouting so to celibrate Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from all over the district marched round Sutton with Flags flying and drums sounding. Cars busses and lorries had to give way to over 1000 of us. To finish we gathered in the park to re make the promices we made when we became members |
If any parents have a spare hour and would be interested in becoming a beaver
helper please could you speak to me.
Also if anyone knows of a person who has an interesting job or hobby and would be
prepared to speak to the beavers about this please could you see me also.
Thanks
