A short camp this year only 4 days but we managed to squeeze in a trip to a local swimming pool, a low ropes course (like a high ropes course but you are allowed to fall off), something called "Tunnel adventure" that turned out to be crawling through buried plastic pipes. actually it was more fun than it sounds, grass sledging, indoor climbing wall, Quad biking, archery, laser clay shooting and kayaking. |

Report from the 29th National Scout Air Rifle Championships
Greater London South West Scout County launched extended awards for the Nights Away scheme earlier this year. While at Eurojam, the European Scout Jamboree, three Scouts from the 1st North Sutton's Chindit Scout Troop achieved their 75th Night Away with the Scout Association. Sophie, Stephen and Martin are pictured below with Mark Patrick (ACC Scouts) after receiveing their awards at Eurojam, surrounded by the flags of the 68 countries who were at Eurojam
When presenting the awards, Mark said these were the first three awards presented and also congratulated Sophie on her achievement, since Sophine had not been a Beaver Scout or Cub Scout and had clocked up her 75 nights entirely as a Scout with Chindit Troop in only 3 years and 3 months.
